Stranger
I think it was Jim Morrison who said, “Faces come out of the rain, when you're strange.”
I have a fascination with some of The Door’s lyrics. They’re cryptic, dark, and a little uncomfortable, but there’s a lot of truth to that line. When you see the world a little differently, some things just look strange.
But what does “the rain” mean? Coming out of the rain, emerging from the confusion, appearing from the disorienting haze of the outside and unfamiliar world comes a face.
I kept picturing what that face, and that rain, might look like.
